This is the official website for the Advisory, Conciliation and Abritration Service, based on the UK mainland. Although much of the information here does not apply directly to Jersey, it is a very useful and informative site, giving "best practice" information.
This site belongs to the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. If you are looking for information on any industry, you should be able to find it here. It also provides links to many other UK government sites.
This site provides some useful information for employees and employers. Please remember that the Employment (Jersey) Law 2003 has different provisions to the English law and any references to timescales or length of service may be different in Jersey. The website refers to Acas in some instances - in Jersey you should refer to JACS.
This is the official website for The States of Jersey. It provides information and contains links to all Jersey Government websites. It also provides information on a variety of local issues.
Access to Social Security advice and information is made through this site. Once on the site you can then click on the "Working in Jersey" link for lots of employment related information.
The website of the Jersey Legal Information Board and official source of legal information in Jersey. The website includes Legislation and Unreported Judgments from 1997 and Practice Directions of the Royal Court. You will also find the consolidated Royal Court Rules and the Jersey Law Review.
