Can a worker be dismissed or treated unfairly because she is pregnant?

The Employment (Jersey) Law 2003 deals with the issue of  unfair dismissal, and further protection for pregnant women is expected within phase 2 of Employment and Social Security Committee’s employment legislation programme.
