New Trainee Rates

The Social Security Minister has announced that effective from 1 September 2025 a new trainee rate can apply.

The rates are for new trainees and they must be on an approved training scheme.

Year 1 trainees the minimum rate is £10.50 per hour

Year 2 trainees the minimum rate is £11.75 per hour
