Is there a minimum wage?
With effect from 1st July 2005 Jersey introduced a minimum wage that is prescribed by law. Please click on the previous link for further information as to the minimum rates for trainees in the first year of a recognised training scheme, the minimum rate for all other employees aged 16 or over not on such a scheme, and for the maximum allowed offsets where either accommodation and food, or accommodation only, is provided.
